48TH Association

The Association exists to preserve the bonds of comradeship among Highlanders; to foster, maintain and promote the traditions and well-being of the 48th Highlanders of Canada; and to generate pride and ésprit de corps among the Regimental Family.

The objectives of the Association are to support the active Regiment, commemorate and honour the service of past generations of Highlanders, and to foster and strengthen comradeship among Highlanders both retired and serving. 

All former and serving members of the 48th Highlanders, the affiliated Cadet Corps, and members of their families are welcome. Others who support the Regiment and the Association’s objectives are welcome to apply..

You may already be a member of the Association. However, we want to ensure that you are kept up to date on ALL the news from the Active Unit and your friends in the Association. Therefore we ask that you register by clicking the “Join” button below..  When you register, you will be automatically added to our Falcon e-mail list.

We will eventually discontinue the use of all existing mailing lists. So, if you don’t register on this website, you won’t be receiving the Falcon newsletters or Bulletins.

The Association is an alumni group which will provide members with reliable and timely communications about upcoming events and social media platforms that will allow you to connect to those with whom you served and/or share like interests. You may already be a member of the new Association. However, it is important that you register your e-mail address by clicking the “Join the Association” button below.

The Old Comrades Association (OCA), Continuing Sergeants Association (CSA), Pipes and Drums Association (P&DA) have begun the process of standing down  Members of these associations are automatically members of the Association. (Even though you are officially a member, it is important for you to register on this web site to continue receiving your copy of the Falcon newsletter.)   While the organization and operation of IODE 48th Highlanders Chapter is not affected, it’s members are eligible in their own right for membership in the Regimental Association.
